Hi I do hope everyone is well. It has beem a hot second since Ive updated my blog here, and I do miss it quite a bit. School has been kicking me in the butt this first four weeks. My Junior level classes are very intensive and I have a few disadvantages not having some of the same math background as other students. I had a four question classical mechanics take home exam that I spent several sleepless nights trying to derive and rederive. I turned it in not even knowing if I did everything correctly. The whole situation was quite overwhelming. I have zero experience with this kind of class, but it makes sense that this class makes me feel uncomfortable. I keep having to remind myself that doing these things that make me uncomfortable will help me grow and improve. I have also been in charge of running group tutoring sessions for algebra based intro physics which has been a weird experience as well. It definitely makes me appreciate using calculus and differential equations because without it it feels very tedious. I dont think Im the best at teaching…. I can do the problems, but I dont always know if I can convey the meaning of everything accurately to a group. Regardless, this is yet another experience that is out of my comfort zone which I refuse to give up on. I came to campus at 6:30 am on a Sunday to study because Im anticipating a very full week with two exams and a homework set due. Just trying to stay afloat over here 🙂 how is your month going? I also chopped my hair last night as a form of procrastination and I dont hate it!
